Knee Help

Hello my name is Stephanie and I need some help for my mother.
My mother has had 4 knee surgeries and they have not done any good but put her in more pain. She is in so much pain she can barely stand it and it has made her depressed and hating her life. The doctor that did her surgeries has told her to just deal with it and wont help her. I am looking for a knee specialist that will help my mother. Most doctors say they wont help her because she has already been seen by this previous doctor. I feel i need to do something, I need to find my mom a doctor that will help her! Thank you so much

Hi WorriedDaughter:
In looking up Waverly, Iowa, I see that it is a fairly small town. I wonder if it would work for you to go to the nearest large city and get a second opinion?

Perhaps in a small town the doctors are reluctant to see the patient of a fellow doctor, not wanting to fnd fault with their work?
Professional courtesy so to speak?

If you have a computer and know how to research with a search engine, maybe you could find doctors this way and make an appointment. Please let us know how this goes.
