Well, it's been 4 months since my total knee. It is slowly improving, some days better than others. I went through 2 more weeks of therapy for tight hamstring and it band but it didn't seem to help them much. Therapists said both legs were tight and she thought that was just the way I'm made.
I'm still having pain in my knee, especially on stairs, and during the night. I wake up with pain when I try to move my leg and then it just continues to throb. I turn on the heating pad and wrap the knee with it and try to go back to sleep. Certain twisting of the knee is still painful but none of it is as bad as it was so for that I am thankful.
I know from what others have said, including my doctor, that it could take up to a year or so for it to be pain free so I'm just thankful I can do some walking and the pain is not as bad as it was. I know if I do too much walking I'm going to pay for it that night and be sore for a couple of days but at least I can walk with less pain than before the surgery. Don't know if I'll be making the black Friday sales again this year but hey that's 3 month away and a miracle may occur.
That's my update. Hope everyone is well, recovering and happy.
