| Knee Problems
I have had five scope jobs on the right knee, torn menicus, clean up four years later, lateral release five years after that. All was well for fifteen years then I was involved in a head on auto accident. This happened four weeks after I had my back fused. Back was fine but I had fractured my knee cap into two pieces and tore the menicus because I was standing on the brake when I had seen what was about to happen. Had the knee scoped in Sept. after the fracture healed, menucis. Had to have the knee done again this pass Jan. Finally went back to work at the end of June after being off for 15 months. My knee started to give me trouble again two weeks ago. Seems I am back where I started with the problem of pain. Can't do steps very well and now walking more than fifty yards is really giving me pain. I have another appointment with the OP. Doc on Monday. He told me in June that the joint was starting of go but I had years before I would need a replacement. I was just wondering if anyone had a knee give up in such a short time period. Really don't want to think about a knee replacement. Both parents had joints replaced. REX4433
