| Knee Pings then Locks
Hi does anyone experience the same and know what it is?
I have had a problem for about 4 months where when i kneel the back of my knee pings like an elastic band causing unbearable pain then pings back into place after a few minutes.
However it happened yesterday and never went back into place. My knee was locked, I couldnt straighten it or move it at all. The pain was so bad, even wiggling my toes caused severe pain. I had to call the ambulance with the help of gas and air they straightened it. They then got me on my feet to try to walk. At that moment my knee clicked,the paramedic who was holding me up felt the click go through her.
The pain eased then but it is still sore if I try to bend it too much. Most of my pain when it happens and after is at the back of my knee.
I rang my gp and he sending me for an mri. He thinks ut us cartilage problem.
