| Hello again, my update!
It's been a while since I've read or posted on this board. If anyone remembers I have a torn medial menicus. My dr told me that it is torn all the way through. He said for this cause it will need to be removed and not repaired. My dr says surgery, but I had no insurance. I have had to wing it as so to speak!! I've still had some pain, not jumping through hoops! LOL I volunteer at a Safe house thrift store 1 day a week, family time, church etc. I was doing pretty good up until about 3 or 4 days ago. Now walking is so painful, most of the time I can barely walk. There is a little swelling too. I have to start using my cane & my knee brace again. My medicare will come in affect on Dec. 1, which is right on time. I went back to sleeping with my leg on a pillow, as it does not go all the way down on the bed. I will call my dr tomorrow, to make an appt to see what to do now.
