I have had 2 hip replacements and there always was pain that I thought would never go away. Your surgery was only 2 1/2 months ago, so I would say give it more time. Everyone is different but I would say it takes 3-6 months to feel more normal and probably a year to be pretty much fully recovered. Stay positive and I bet the pain will go away before you know it. Remember whatever kind of pain you have now, can't be anywhere near as bad as the pain before the surgery. Good luck!!!!
