Extreme Knee Pain
 

I have extreme knee pain that does not go away with the medication prescribed. I use a cane for my knee and a knee brace. My doctor refuses to prescribe me anything stronger than ibruprofen gabapentin, and amitripyilin,
I tell him I need something stronger but he refuses me, what am I suppose to do? go to the hospital and wait 6 hours to see a ER doctor and possibly stay overnight for examination? any suggestions on what I should ask my doctor to prescribe me? why do doctors let their patients suffer? please post something that may help find a way to kill my pain.
