Internal Left Knee Pain

A few weeks ago I noticed my left knee with pain only when doing the following activities: squatting then standing up or doing a hamstring curl motion with weight (i.e. at my desk and bring my right leg that has no pain under my chair with my left left). Doesn't hurt when running (play soccer a couple times a week), walking or leg/quad extensions..feels just fine with these activities.

This just flared up recently before a few weeks before Christmas & hasn't gone away on its own. Leg (calf & quad/hamstring) feel great. Only feels like it's inside my knee. No pain as well touching anywhere around my knee. I didn't suffer an injury to my left knee to cause this that was noticeable.

Anyone have this same problem? Ideas on what this is?
