The number one place is probably the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York. You can try Booth Bartolozzi, Bartleson, 3 guys out of U penn. Virtua Health doctors in south jersey are pretty good. There's also the Cleveland Clini, the Rothman institute, and John Hopkins.

Thank you. She's been to Cleveland already and the doctor seems to not have any solutions. Although her blood test shows a moderate sensitivity to nickel, he just said no big deal and put her on a regiment of anti-inflammatory medicine indefinitely. I checked with Stryker but I don't think there are any recalls on her implant. It's been a few years since her implant and she's still suffering from tightness, inflammation and discomfort. If anyone has any input, we'd appreciate it. The doctors say the x-rays show that the implant is straight and lined up properly. We'll check out those other places you mentioned.

I had my TKR done at hospital for special surgery in NY, my research had them as a top hospital for knee and hip replacements. I saw 4 surgeons before choosing Dr Haas at HSS, I waited 7 months for the initial consultation. Given my results now 2 years post TKR it was worth it for me.

Thanks Glen, we appreciate the feedback. Looks like mom was able to get an appointment at Mayo in Rochester yesterday so she may follow up that consultation in the meantime and see what they say. We are also looking into HSS in NY and we appreciate your suggestions. Thanks.

I had my hip done at Hospital for Joint Diseases and right after Hospital for Special Surgery this is the best. I initially looked into HSS but the wait time was to long and Joint Diseases was only a two month wait. So far I am happy with the results and the hospital itself was very clean and the hospital staff was very good.
