I have rhumatoid arthritis and am facing my first total joint replacement ( on Monday 1/28).
Aside from the usual personal care items (facial cleanser, deo, lotion etc) and robe, slippers, sweat pants, cell, kindle & chargers etc I was wondering if there was anything that you found to be a total lifesaver that shouldn't be forgotten?
I'd very much appreciate any tip, tricks, ideas or suggestions!
Re: Ladies......what to pack for total knee replacement m
I wore shorts. Easy for dressing change and didn't rub on knee. Rubber gloves, just thin household, made the putting on of obligatory pressure stockings very easy.
When getting in and out of bed put 'good' foot under TKR ankle to lift & support weight [you should be told this but just in case. Sometimes the big helping tips slip by] Good luck.
