| Hip Bursitis- How much cortisone is OK?
Hi all. I have had hip bursitis since November. It is driving me crazy. I have a European trip in 7 weeks and need to be able to walk comfortably. Cannot do it with this bursitis. I can do the bike, but not walk. It is so painful. I have had two shots of cortisone so far, but it has come back. I hear such conflicting news on how much cortisone is too much. It has been five weeks since the last one. I am wondering if I should wait until the week before the trip to get another. I am starting Euflexxa shots in my knee this Friday and the next two. Think there is any problem mixing the two? Sounds like I am falling apart, doesn't it? The hip is more of a nuisance than the knee is. Anyone have any hints on how to clear it up for good? Thanks!!
