after tkr - pain upon kneeling

so i am 1 year out from tkr last may 2012. recently I have been having some knee pain, the only thing that I can think of I have been doing is climbing more steps than usual due to staying with my new grandson AND I have been doing some kneeling on that knee.

Have any of you had an trouble like this???
will it just go away?
could I have injured it??? I don't think I have but just need some opinions.

Hi nana b:
I have not had any knee replacements, but as a veteran of 2 hip replacements one on each hip, my reaction to your posting is that if you think you have been overdoing things, you probably have! As Grandmas we sometimes forget that we can't do as much as fast as we did years ago. Only a year since you got your new knee and as replacements go, that is not a long time in my opinion. Try being a little easier on that knee and let us know if that helps.
