| concerns after procedure
finally just made the decision and had the lasik procedure.
I'm a few days after an have concern about the doctors
accuracy.
so the good news is my eyes are feeling fine and healing extremely quick
and I can still see.
however,
during my lasik procedure I overheard the dr and tech talking that
they were correcting both my eyes the same amount, 7 I think they said.
now I'm concerned as my prescription has always been different in both eyes,
left is 8.25 and right is 7.75
now after procedure, I can see excellent and sharp with my right eye, but can not see well with my left eye. everything looks unbalanced and my perception is off. no halos or blur thank goodness, and I can put my old glasses in front of my left eye and see excellent.
So ,why on earth would they correct each eye the same amount if prescription was different in each eye?
compared to my regular vision exams and procedures, they really rushed thru my pre visit and post visit etc.. and have me see different drs every time I go there. I have a bad feeling some one goofed on my prescription and what they did during my lasik.
I have directly asked them this ? and have not got an answer. all they say is my eyes look great and are healing great. I fear they will not answer me because they know there was a bit of discrenpency on their end.
I feel very depressed about this , and am not sure there is much can be done in the short term, but they would not even give me a lense for my glasses so I can see out left eye , I don't feel good driving. I think they need to do something.
please advise,
thankyou,
