| Re: lasek enhacment for small prescription
Ceasre,
As we age, our eyes change over and over. I am not sure that your eye doctor will perform lasek for such a small change, knowing that other changes are coming down the road.
I had lasek in my 30s and wish I hadnt because 15 years later, I have to wear glasses to read and my contacts to see long distance all over again. It was a waste of money.
Ive gone back to my doctor several times complaining and he tells me that when my eyes get bad enough he will do a lens replacement which will be a cure all and permanent; but I am not old enough yet. He predicts I will be in my 50s before I am ready. Cataracts are another reason (should they develop) to do a lens replacement. Youre going to have to make an appointment to talk to your doctor about the possiblity. Not knowing your age or your health, Its tough to advise further because it is a fact that throughout your 40s and 50s your eyes will change several times.
