I still have a feeling of an eyelash in my right eye now and then. It isn't constant but, it does happen periodically throughout the day. I had my surgery this past Wednesday the 19th, so, 5 days ago. Did anyone else have that eyelashy kind of pain days after surgery or should I be concerned? At my follow up and the day I went in because I was an idiot with the eye dropper, my doc said all was looking great and I was doing better than I should be. I don't see anything in my eye. Just a little worried because on one of the sheets my doc sent home with me, it says that if I experience pain, I should call him. But, I think I remember reading about the sensation of an eyelash in they eye for a couple days.

i had lasik surgery 3 months ago and enhancement on one eye last week. i never felt the eyelash thing, but did feel like my eyes were really tired...like i'd worn my contacts for too long. that goes away after a few days and the wetting drops help a lot. i used them as often as i thought about it...sometimes 10 or 12 times a day.

Don't worry; that's TOTALLY normal!!! I had my eyes done last May and it took a lot longer than I expected for my eyes to feel "100%" again!! I had a pretty strong prescription, so I think that's the reason it took a while... I'd say it was at least 2 weeks that I was still a little blurry and bleary... The artificial tears helped A LOT...

yea i kind of had that...still do ocassionally but drops get rid of it...mine are doing better still :-D I think the eye i said was worse, as it heals is overtaking the other eye that I thought was stronger, as long as it keeps healing hehe. it has better long distance now it seems once it focuses.

i cant wait til I get 100% too! dont think i will need a touchup, unless down the road a year+

Thank you everyone! I am not too worried about the issue in my right eye. That one was my worst. I think it may even just be a hair that keeps falling into my eye. It is kind of in the right corner of my right eye. Doesn't feel like it is on the cornea which is where I would really worry if I felt any hair like pain.

My eyes are doing much better with the dryness since the surgery. They get better every day. That has really been my biggest problem and I had expected it so, I am not concerned. And, it does feel like I left my contacts in. I haven't worn contacts in 3 or more years and the funny thing is that, at night, I have this urge to go take my contacts out before bed. How weird is that. When I did wear contacts, it was only for about a year and then before and after that, only on and off again. So, the whole contact routine was not a habit for me like the urge to push my glasses up onto my face...that is a habit I am finding the need to break! Heheh! I keep feeling the urge to push them up! A habit I am so relieved to not need anymore!
