| Re: Day 11 after lasik surgery
Your eyes are definitely still healing, and will for a few months. I had lasik back in September, and my eyes still fluctuate and feel dry on some days. Best thing I ever did though. I definitely agree the the cold weather and dry heat makes it worse. Keep using the tears. My eyes feel more blurry in the mornings, but always feel better after I get out of the shower. My eyes have been 20/20 for the most part, but fluctuate between 20/30 or 20/40.
The starbursts that you are seeing are one of the side effects of the surgery. I can honestly say that I don't get them that much at all -- the only time I have difficulty with them is when it is raining out and the roads are wet -- the glare is pretty bad sometimes. Again, just keep using your drops, have patience while your corneas heal, and don't be frustrated by the fluctuations/dryness. They are absolultely normal.
Good luck and keep in touch.
