I had my eye surgery! - Lasik Eye Surgery Message Board

Hello Fellow Members of this board,
I had my procedure done yesterday, and while I didn't care for the actual surgery, it was well worth the effort. So far I am 20/25 in the left eye and 20/50 in the right eye. And that was not even 24 hours after the deal, so I am excited! I have worn glasses since 1978, in the 4th grade, so it's cool to be able to see the words on the television and licencse plates on cars.

Now I just need to heal and all that good stuff. Talk to you later!

Good for you! That's really awesome and I hope your eyes continue to improve (they will, don't worry). I like hearing stories like that. We need some more positive feedback in these forums because these procedures are scarey for everyone. We all need a little hope.

I had PRK done on my right eye last Wednesday and so far, so good. I won't get the vision as quickly as the regular lasik people, but I already see a definate improvement.
