jkm,
I am 1 year, 1 month, 2 weeks and some change post-op and, my vision still has blurry moments. Back at the beginning of my healing, I had that kind of blurriness (I think we are talking about the same thing) that would come and go throughout the day for the first 5 months I think. I have a really bad memory so, forgive me it it lasted longer or slightly shorter. I am positive that it lasted at least 3 months. I think you can click on my screen name and see my posts from when I started posting so, you can see for yourself my experience over the past year +. Anyway, I know alot of it was due to how dry my eyes were. I even have some blurriness yesterday because they were both dry and tired. It gets better though. Just be patient. Rome and your eyes are very similar. Rome wasn't built in a day and your previously poor vision won't heal in a day. There have been lucky people who have had nothing but greatness since the day they got their surgery but, from my experience and from reading others', that doesn't seem to be the norm. Another way to explain this would be to ask if you have ever had a new pair of shoes that took some time to break in? Basically, your eye sight is brand new and will take some time to break in. I don't know if that makes as much sense as it does inside my own head.
Lubricate, lubricate, lubricate! That will help. Just make sure they are non-preserved/Preservative Free drops. The other stuff only irritates your eyes and causes more issues down the line. If the box or container doesn't say preservative free or non-preserved on it, DO NOT BUY IT! I learned the hard way. I thought the brand I was using was non-preserved and probably ended up pushing my healing time back several months as a result.
Take care!
