Lasik in one eye only? - Lasik Eye Surgery Message Board

I was wondering since I see so many horror stories on this board regarding lasik/lasek should I only have my left eye done. That way if the results are bad I will still have one good eye. If I do decide to do this, I would have to get a new contact and eyeglass subscription for the one weaker eye :P What do you think?

I would say that if you are going to do it, get both done. But, you have to find out first if you are even a good candidate for the surgery by visiting with a Lasik Surgeon.

Since i learned that the flap never completely heal i wish i did any kind of surgery but not lasik. ; )
Do some research, don't just listen the surgeon or successful people who did it but take your own decision after being properly informed on the subject. (one year of research is not much for your eyes). Do it or not but if you're young you should do both eyes or monovision if you already need glasses for reading.
