I am 16 days post-lasik. I was nearsighted with astigmatism prior to my lasik operation. On the plus side, I’ve not experienced halos, starbursts, or any pain. As in my previous post “Lasik Surgery on April 3rd” at my 1 week appt my dr told me I was showing some overcorrection (towards farsightedness), and I was noticing that nearer objects were blurry; such as sitting across the table from my husband, I couldn’t focus in on his face, etc. I expect, at my age, to use reading glasses for computer and reading, but was really hoping my sight would improve a little more.
Anyways, I have a Facemaster, and before you all sigh “what a waste of money” (as my husband does everytime he sees it

I started using it around my eyes, on the gentle setting. My idea was perhaps if I could get these little eye muscles moving, it would bring some blood to the area to help with healing, and the blood might help carry toxins away - basically the same premise when working with larger muscles. Okay, today is day 3 and I’ve used it 3 times and it seems that after using it, my focus ability is better. Is it helping, or wishful thinking, or would my eyes be improving even if I wasn’t using it? I don’t know, but I thought I’d see what others might think!
