Adults with Central Auditory Processing disorders
 

Does anyone know any information I can find on ADULTS with Central Auditory Processing disorders. I've been diagnosed with a learing disability since the age of 5. This learing disability seems to follow me every place I go. I'm trying to find some information for my boss or information on how I can get a Job advocate in the raleigh/Durham area to help me cope with the issues and problems I am having in my work environment.

There doesn't seem to be a whole lot of information out there on adults with CAPD. I know because I'm pretty sure that I have it, too, and I've been searching.

Hi,

My nephew (11) was diagnosed with CAPD last year....I recently purchased the book "When the Brain Can't Hear: Unraveling the mystery of auditory processing disorder" by Teri James Bellis. There is all the information one would need to understand it -- from children to adults.
