| My 3 and 3/4 year old
Has anyone heard of anything like my little boy, he has very little in the way of speech and is having great difficulty potty training, he is in a montessori (preschool) and they say he is very bright at some tasks but falls behind at others, they have also said he has started being very stubborn and disobedient to get attention, he was checked for autism but the only autistic behavior he had on the tests was his speech, he is very social and loving. Is it possible for him to be just behind or a slow devleoper in a few ways or would learning difficulties usualy be more broad spectrum? Could the 'naughtness' be because he is mentally 2 and a 1/2 or 2 and 3/4 rather then his chronological age? Like i said he will do jigsaw puzzles and logic puzzles for even 5 year olds sometimes its just these few sticky things he seems to struggle with?
