 CAPD-- I am new here
hi! i am catherine. i was diagnosed with central audtiory processing disorder in the 1st/2nd grade. since then i have had problems with it. in middle school i used to have teachers write notes for me and then they just decided not to do that for me anymore, which was stupid. i just got out of high school in 2007. everytime someone asks a question i just go uh huh yeah sure and then if they decided to ask well what you think about that i wouldnt have a clue what they just said. i try to tell my mom i have problems with it but she just pushes it off like its nothing. she says its not as severe as i make it. im not saying it severe im saying i dont understand. ugh it makes me annoyed. i just want to talk to other people or parents with kids who have it or have a learning disability. i wanna know how it is every day? and other things like that.
