I am glad that you have taken her for an evaluation. The professionals should be able to give you a diagnosis and some ideas on how to help her. Have you tried not giving her what she points to until she tries to say the word? My one son did the same thing and his older brother would always tell me what he wanted. I finally stopped him from "helping" and made him say the word he wanted. When he would point and go "uhuh" I would tell him "say cookie" or "say milk". If he tried he would get it, if he just threw a fit, I walked away. He finally learned to say what he wanted. Don't know if that helps but it will be better after you get a diagnosis. I'm confident everything will be ok. Take care.
