I have a learning diability and have for years. I was diagnosed young because I had low test scores in certain areas and that is the only true way to know if your son has a learning disability. You should have him tested by your son school. I had to attend special classes for the subjects I tested below average in. I attended my normal classes as well. I don't know if having developmental issues attributes to learning disabilities. Maybe. But you should get him tested. If he does have a learning disability its good to get help now. Its frustrating as an adult to deal with but I've learned to cope.
