Bloodwork and diagnosis

Hi,

For the past few months, i have been ill with a number of symptoms including
swollen lymph nodes, bleeding gums, extreme fatigue, loose stools, upper right
quadrent pain, the list goes on. I have had numerous tests from Hepatitis, HIV,
Mono, and extensive blood work, all normal and no cause found. I went to look up
these symptoms on the Internet and immediately leukemia came up, my question is,
would my bloodwork have been normal if it were leukemia causing these symptoms?
I had en ESR, full blood count, and liver function tests. I do hope you can help
me out, im becoming increasingly worried having these symptoms and no cause been
found.

With thanks,

Simon UK

Re: Bloodwork and diagnosis

If your tests came back normal, it means that the tests they ran did not detect a problem. If your symptoms do not go away soon, ask for more testing because sometimes symptoms of disease get really bad before the testing indicates anything is wrong.
