New here with question
I recently had a baby 5 months ago via c-section. The c-section went fine but afterwards I had some complications. I started bruising really bad at the incision site all throughout my stomach. My arms were bruising too. I wound up needing a blood transfusion. Almost all of my bloodwork was flagged.

WBC-19.93-h
RBC 2.55-l
HGB-8.6-l
HCT-24.6-l
MCV-96.7-h
RDW-15.2-h
BANDS-16-h
Lymphs-13-l
neutrophils-16.14-h

My platelets stayed normal the whole time? I have always had issues with bruising and heavy menstrual periods. My Gyno referred me to a hemotologist.I dontknow if I really have any other symptoms. I am always tired but I have epstein Barr and I do have joint pain ( mostly hip) Could this just have been a fluke or might there be something else? I am just anxious about all of this!

I understand your anxiety. Do you have an appointment with a hematologist yet? Generally, they will run pretty sophisticated blood work to pinpoint the problem. Having a baby generally does leave a new mother pretty wiped out. Please let me know if you have an appointment with a specialist. Take care and when you feel anxious, call a family member or friend with whom you are close. It helps to have support when we're feeling anxiety or fear.
