lumbar puncture

I am now 27, at the age of six I contracted Leukemia (ALL) After lumbar punctures I had sickness and since then, a lot of lower back pain. For the last 8mths I have been working on releasing the hyper extension (by product of discomfort) in my lower lumbar region and am wondering if there is any evidence to suggest that the back pain was a result of a weakening or sensitivity in this area?
Kind regards
niamh
