| Any info please!
Hi,
This is all very new for me. I am looking for any info or advice regarding Leukemia. I am 29 yrs old and thought I was very healthy. I recently became pregnant and my doctor found that I had high wbc. They had done several CBC's on me while I was pregnant and all came back high. Apparently it can be normal to have high wbc while pregnant. I ended up having a m/c and now still have high wbc. They started looking back and found that I have had elevated wbc since 2007. I have had blood cultures, autoimmune testing, CT scan of my abdomen and thorax, neck u/s and everything is clear. I am now waiting on an appt with a hematologist but was told that they will be looking for leukemia and I would be having a bone marrow biopsy. I am just looking for any info that you may have...my husband and I are wanting to start a family and now everything is on hold, they do not want me to try and get pregnant again. I am terrified.
I have no symptoms...I get colds alot but I work in a medical centre and my wbc count goes up & down from 12-18 (highest is my neutrophils)
