| Worried sick about my liver.
I went to the hospital on 4.16.17 for what I assumed was the flu, but thought I'd be given fluids and anti nausea medicine (I couldn't keep anything down).
Instead, I'm admitted for two days because of my liver tests.
ALT: 1,118
AST: 657
My albumin level, glucose, & total protien are all low.
I've never been diabetic but I've all of a sudden have blood sugar levels above 200 with both sugar and ketones(150mg) in my urine.
I was let go because after many tests they got no answers, no hep a,b or c was found. I don't drink, never have. Blood was tested for drugs (acetophetomin), showed nothing of value.
Since leaving ( I've been seeing my gp since, waiting on more blood results), I've started getting really swollen around my abdomen and ankles, I've been getting hand tremors, alternating chills and sweats, and oral thrush.
I just feel really really unwell ever since, and I feel like I'm not getting answers.
Im a 24yo female, otherwise healthy with no prior liver problems.
I'm not jaundice btw.
Is it okay to be kicking back while I'm waiting for more test results? Or could I be in acute liver failure, and meanwhile I'm doing nothing about it?
(Platlets are quite low too, just remembered).
