Can parasites cause liver enzymes to be elevated?

Why would you suspect you have parasites, honey?

The most common cause is use of alcohol, which is highly concentrated sugar.
But eating excessive sugar and/or simple carbs can cause it too. The liver is unable to process excessive blood sugar and it causes fat to build up in the liver.

One needs to exercise more and cut out alcohol and excess carbs-sugars.
