| multiple scattered liver cysts
Recent MRI and Ultra Sound reveal multiple scattered cysts inside my liver. The largest are 3.7 and 3.9 centimeters. They appear to be fluid filled. Because the cysts are inside the liver (vs attached to the outside) it is not easy to biopsy. My MD says there is "nothing worrisome" and suggests waiting a year to re-test and evaluate any changes. It is hard not to worry. Does anyone else have experience with something like this?
*(I also have a history of Sarcoidosis, some 35 years ago which resolved itself after treatment with large doses of Prednisone). Not sure there is a connection. MD not particularly forthcoming with useful information.
