Here's the Magic Herbs and Supplements I have found that help -

Milk Thistle, Dandelion, Artichoke, Schizandra, Burdock Root, Garlic, Oregon Grape Root, Evening Primrose Oil, Flax Oil, Alpha Lipoic Acid, Glutathione, Vitamin B12, Folic Acid in addition to a general Multiple Vitamin Tablet.

COMMENTS PLEASE !!!!!!

All those you listed are liver supporters. Milk thistle is the most widely known herb with beneficial liver properties. I take milk thistle, dandelion, artichoke extract, ALA and multivitamin. I have taken garlic and flax oil before but not now. Haven't ever tried Schizandra, Oregon Grape Root, Evening Primrose Oil, or straight Glutathione but have read that they are all supposed to be helpful for the liver. Instead of taking glutathione, I used to take NAC which is a component the body needs to make glutathione. There are some other things that are also supposed to boost glutathione production. The main thing is to eat and drink in moderation and the liver should be okay for most people but not all.

Re: Herbs, Supplements, and Vitamins for the Liver

N-ACETYL CYSTEINE = NAC
Alpha Lipoic Acid = ALA
