| Re: Wait Till You Hear This Doozy!!!
Hi, I just wanted to say that I, also, have never heard of that! Sounds very much like an old wives tale! It's like when you are pregnant, and hear all the different things about how if you are having a boy, you carry it different, etc. I was just reading about a new book out that lists all kinds of whimsical things like that, and there are very many of them! So, I guess a fatty liver is like anything else, and gets it's share of gimmicks associated with it. I was wondering about the vitamin E that you mentioned. Have you heard this from a reputable doctor to take vitamin E for a fatty liver? I am wondering because I also have been diagnosed with a fatty liver from a sonogram, I had a sonogram because I had mild increases in my liver enzymes. I have heard here and there about the vitamin E, but wasn't sure whether or not to take it. I have heard that it's better for you to take the natural vitamin E, did you know that? And, it's a very subtle difference, that's hard to look for. First of all, the REAL natural vitamin E is more expensive than the synthetic type. But, it's hard to tell which is which sometimes because the synthetic type even still says on the label that it's 100% natural, and that can be deceiving. It's something like, the natural vitamin E has an ingredient that is called d-Alpha Tocopherol, and the synthetic one varies that name with just a couple letters, I think it's something like di-Alpha Tocopheryl. Maybe you might have some more info on this. Anyway, I was wondering about the vitamin E basically, I mean so many things are gimmicks. Just look at how deceiving it is when they make it look like the synthetic is natural, I am just worried that I don't want to do my liver more harm than good, and hope it's ok to take the vitamin E. I had read before that, generally, vitamins are hard on the liver, but I don't know about the E. Anyway, thanks for any info! Good luck! V
