Hi everyone

I was curious if anyone here has ever done a liver/gallbladder cleanse??
I really want to do one- since I have gallstones.

I have gotten a few recipes that I can do- but I've heard that you are supposed to do a Parasite cleanse first? Is this necessary?

I would love to hear from anyone who has experience with liver cleansing, and how it has helped you.

No, I haven't done a liver cleanse/flush yet. But I am going to probably next month. I've gotta get all my ingredients together. I'm very anxious to do this as I have heard nothing but good things about doing it!!

From all the research I've done though on cleanses/flushes, here is a good protocol to follow:

Parasite cleanse/flush
Colon cleanse/flush
Liver cleanse/flush

I am going to do the parasite cleanse and colon cleanse at the same time, and then do the liver cleanse. I don't think it's absolutely necessary that you do the parasite cleanse. I'm just doing it b/c I want to make sure I get as much "stuff" out that doesn't need to be in my body. But that's just me.

I have- three times now. I was absolutely dumbfounded by how well it worked, especially the last time when I got nearly a half-cupful fo green pellets out.

I plan on one a year forever. I had a recent GB scan and it's clean, but since that was my first I don't make much of that. But for me what is diagnostic is that the occasional waves of pain from greasy food are gone!

I think the theory is that with each successive flush, more and more are cleared from higher up in the liver.

GO FOR IT- nothing to lose but a day.

I do a mild liver cleanse each morning on an empty stomach. It's as follows:

juice of one lemon
2 oz. Aloe Vera Herbal Detoxifying Formula
Kyolic Aged Garlic Extract
Liver Enhancer Extract with Shitake & Mitake
add some water
mix and drink(I use a battery operated mixer)

Later in the day I juice using carrots, dandellion greens and beets. All three are excellent for the liver.

I also take a milk thistle capsule during the day. Before I do the cleanse, I take 200mg of SAMe. SAMe is excellent for the liver (do a search).

I have not done a liver cleanse but do 10 day body cleanses and fasts. However just this last week my boyfriend did a 7 day liver cleanse. I watched him put it all together and follow it. His skin looks amazing now and he lost some weight. He followed Dr. Shultz liver detox cleanse/program.It is excellent. I have done his cold/flu detox program and it really helped avoid getting ill.
