Bloodwork - Liver & Pancreas Disorders Message Board

Wondering if bloodwrok on thyroid and regular work check for liver problems. bloodwork was checkin to see if anything was causing my anxiety/panic attacks
as i am having yellow colored stools pain in lower right rib and diarhea
i am on atenolol and zoloft, but the side effects dont mention pale stools...
and im worried if it may be a liver problem
the bloodwork they did said what they checked for was ok but i dont know if they checked liver or not

Is your Dr aware of the pale colored stools? I would get a copy of your test results and ask the Dr to run the liver blood tests if they weren't done.

Also it could be a gallbladder problem. Have you had a ultrasound or hida scan to check your gallbladder?

no she isnt aware of the pale stools, i am waiting for my ultrasound order to be takin they said it takes 2-3weeks to even get a date for it to be done. as i am on a university insurance cause i cant afford good insurance, so i think they hold back a lot of the epensive tests.
and what should i look fo ron the test results to see if my liver got checked

The only way to test for liver enzymes is to ask your doc to run a liver panel.

You should ask for a copy of the tests........
