Help Needed & worried ALT/AST Levels - Liver & Pancreas Disorders Message Board

My hubby go to the routine check up with my family doctor. he did some blood tests.

His CBC is ok but one Lymphocyte 46.8 Regerence Range is (15.0-45.0)

His Liver Test is not ok.

ALT is 73 Regerence Range is 3-45
AST is 51 Regerence Range is 3-35

I am worried about him. I do not have a clue what is all about. Can any one help me with that. I need learn more about Liver test.

ALT and AST are two "enzymes" that are commonly monitored to determine the health of the liver.... but there are other enzymes and blood chemicals which are tested as well in a liver panel blood test .

Your Husbands levels are a little "elevated" but this could be caused by many things, - medication, drinking alcohol, excess exercise, and other physiological causes....
So, - it's hard to tell from the information you have provided, except... try not to worry and talk to your Doctor... What does he think ???
