Liver Enzymes slightly elevated?

I just got my blood work back from the new docs and my liver enzymes were slightly elevated. She said not enough to worry about (i'm petrified) but also my cholesterol was 250. Does anyone one know if the 2 are related? Does a fatty liver and high cholesterol have anything to do with each other? She wants to see me next week does not want to give me cholesterol meds until she finds out the rest of my bloodwork. What can I take for my liver to get those enzymes down? Lisa

Re: Liver Enzymes slightly elevated?

Every blood test I've gotten within the past 2 years has had my liver enzymes slightly elevated as well. I'm also told not to worry about it. I've been having pains in my side (the other side, weirdly enough) and stomach for a while and they haven't really diagnosed anything. Recently I've been getting the occasional pain on the right side though, which does worry me. Does anybody have an idea of what "Elevated Enzymes but don't worry about it" means?
