Hi Shawn! It's so good to hear from you!! You know what they say abt great minds....
I'm so sorry to hear abt your daughter! How scary was that for you guys! Nine months old and a bronch infection...Thank goodness she is doing well now. How are the other two little ones--did they pick anything up from her? Our twins weren't in day are or preschool so they are getting every illness known to mankind.... Our "previous" pediatrician told me I should send them to pre school, if not for any other reason than to build their immunities up at a young age and they get it out of their system. I swear, do ppl ever "rewind the tape" in their head and think "Did I really just say that?" LOL That's when I called our GP and asked if he'd take the kids on too....
Breathing treatments for a nine month old...you guys are my HEROS!! How in the world did you accomplish that--besides having nerves of steel!!? (and spreadingyourselves very thin amongst the other two!!)Hopefully you and your wife are catching up on the sleep deprivation that tends to ensue with baby illnesses.
Glad the drs are not too concerned with your ALT--gallbladder removal will elevate those #'s and from what I've been told, that reason alone can take a while for them to return to normal....I'll keep my fingers crossed!!
I have to watch my protein intake, so the shakes are out for me from now on. I'm not a 'dieter'-never done a fad diets, (Atkins, etc)but have always adapted my eating habits to fit what I call my my "seasonal lifestyle." (I'm not a total cold weather sloth, but I feel like one!!

) So I tweak things a bit. When my liver was failing it wasn't metabolizing the protein I had added to my diet, and that contributed to it's downfall. I had no idea too much protein can wreak havoc on the liver. I guess it's like perfume...too much is not a good thing!!
I'm glad you checked your vitamins.....3000%

of the DR...I'd venture to say that has something to do with those high numbers!!
Take care or yourself, kiss those babies, and post when you get time!!!
