Stage 3 is very very serious (Stage 4 is cirrhosis.)
Ask you doctor DIRECTLY if this is what he suspects.
The "Cure" is transplantation.
I hope my guess is wrong. |
Me too, but thank you for your thoughts. I sorta knew that we were'nt "playing games" here

I did have a temporary scare when I saw that Hep C and Bridging Fibrosis could be related. However my labs for Hep were all neg. My Dr. has been on vacation but hope to speak with him Monday.
Do you know if this can "sneak up" on a person? I had a biopsy last Sept. and it came back neg. I did not receive a copy of that lab work. Would it make a difference as to what area or angle that they did the biopsy? This one was in a completely different place. My GI Dr. told me that with my previous labs so high (whatever they were) that no way my first biopsy should have come back neg.
I am 65yrs young but if it comes to a transplant and there are young'ns waiting I will pass. (At least I feel that way now -

) I have had a pretty good life and I'm looking forward to going "home". -

Thank you so much for your help and l look forward to "hearing from you" again. Geri
