| Mono-induced Hepatomegaly
I had mono for a little while. My spleen was swollen, or maybe my liver, or both (mono does this. Something was definitely swollen in there!)
My question is this. How does a swollen spleen function compared to a normal one?
The reason I ask is because after 3 months of being off it (I was told it would take 2-3) I still have side-effects from prozac. My reading has led me to believe that prozac is largely metabolized in the liver, and since I had mono for about 6 weeks of those 3 months, I am wondering how this may have effected the speed of my recovery.
