How can we-(all readers) say thank you to such a wonderful group of women whom came together and shared their experience. You all have paved the way for scaredy cats like me! After reading your threads, so many of my questions have been answered. Neens7982- Cool, you and I have the same doctor. My surgery is coming soon, but I do not have a date set. I was scheduled to have my surgery in Atlanta, Georgia where I lived. My family wanted me here in Texas to have the surgery so they could be with me. I moved here right before Christmas. Had to find all new doctors and just had my CT last week. After the results come back, Dr. Goldstein's office will call to set up an appointment. Is it true that Dr. Goldstein did Mickey Mantals liver surgery? (Did I spell his name right?) Check it out on the web. Anyways, I think it's neat. Knowing that someone else out there had him for a doctor helps me feel more relieved. Whew! I'm so glad you ladies took the time to talk, share, and be the best outside support any could hope for. I'll keep ya posted when my surgery date is scheduled. I want all you amazing women in my corner cheering me on. Sniff....hugs! cj
