MD's office called; Wants to see me for results. Scared!!!! - Liver & Pancreas Disorders Message Board

I was dx with hep c last Thursday. Had additional blood work done that day for the viral load, etc. He said he would call with the results. Office staff called just now and said to come in and see him this week. I just know it cannot be good! I am so upset. I have not slept well since Thursday and have already lost 2 lbs. from not eating. Please tell me this is the worst part of not knowing.

VL 10,100,000 Genotype 1b Aside from the slightly elevated enzymes the liver function numbers are within range. Biopsy next week.

I had liver biopsy done Thursday, and will go back to gastro April 21 for results. I will post back after I get those results. Thanks for asking. I cannot remember ever being this stressed out.
