I have been diagnosed with auto immune hep and primary biliary cirrohis..although I wasnt feeling that bad...thanks to the wellness program I seem to be on many pills and a kindof scarry future...I was wanting to take a healthy approach with vitamins and teas etc. to go along with all the drus im ingesting....Is there anyone who knows a good regiment to follow...something that will help my poor liver be happy..thanks for letting me ramble jaye54:

Hi: Your situation sounds eerily similar to mine. I have Sjogren's and have all the
symptoms of auto-immune hepatitis and primary biliary cirrhosis.
Was your condition confirmed by biopsy?? What exactly is the treatment for PBC?
Is your iron level normal? Your enzyme levels OK? (My ALT & AST are elevated
and my iron level is 471...........so my liver is really inflammed.) I take no meds
and have never drank or smoked. The dr. is running the test for genetic
hemochromatosis.

hey thanks for the reply..im computer illiterate and could never find my way back to this site until healthboards sent me your response...yes I did have a liver biopsy..im eating 3000 miligrams of urso forte which is a bear bile not cheep I might addthat is for the pbc and also on prednisonefor the aih..im going in for my first visit after 6 months of pills to see how its going...im also gonna go to an alternative doctor to see if there is a natural approach...last october I looked up sjourns and i should have looke it up befor I wrote you becuae now I have forgot...sorry!! im gonna do that now..so r u also a singer..if so now we have 2 things in common..
