Sounds to me like you need a follow-up appointment with a Dr. that cares enough to give you the information to deal with your fatty liver. I also have been diagnosed with Non-Alcoholic Fatty Liver Disease. My Dr. talked to me at length about my family history, weight and medications that I've been on in the past. He also told me what to do that would help and what not to do. If you do not get good information and care from your Dr. that is treating you now, then I would find a Liver Specialist that cares.
