To all whom have ear,Listen. For 37 years I indulged my life into drugs, tattoos, gangs, and pure rebellion. Against society, peer pressure, or any other excuse I could use to give myself a reason for anything goes. Who could I affect, it was my body. Live or die, I would pay the cost. And now I am. Hepatitis C and Cirrohsis of the Liver. I have a new family now, kids to love and a wife to live for. The past l0 years, a dream. The last 5 months or so, REALITY Hits. The bible says, you reap what you sow. I now live that verse. But I have a new outlook that I am forced to live by, a way to save my insanity, nevrgivup! So if you are infected or affected by this disease directly or indirectly, my advice to you, look up at the creator, ask for his guidance day to day, and never let anyone see you without a smile. We'll make it together, all of us. My prayers are with all who contribute to this message board. Amen

I just read your posting and it touched me so much. You sound like you are a changed person and following the Lord. Don't give up ~ God can do miracles with belief and prayers. I am married to an alcoholic and I can understand the disease to some degree. I am praying constantly for my husband with the hopes that he too can stop before things get too severe. I am glad that you have a supportive family and that you cherish them soooooo much. Take care of yourself for you and your wife.
