elevated liver enzymes-Klonopin? - Liver & Pancreas Disorders Message Board

My PCP called and told me my liver enzymes were elevated and is going to test me for Hepatisis C. I have been on Klonopin for two years due to anxiety after my daughter was diagnosed with cancer. Could the Klonopin be causing the elevated enzymes and if so will they go up further with continued usage of Klonopin?

I have been on Clonazepam (the generic version of the drug) for the past 3 yrs. due to anxiety. I have had a lot of blood work done and everything always seems to come back normal. I don't think that would be the problem, but everyone's body functions in different ways. I hope your daughter is doing better.
