Alt and bilirbin - Liver & Pancreas Disorders Message Board

I just got some test results from my GYNO appointment. He said my Bilirubin was at 1.4 and ALT was at 58. Both elevated. What is going on? I have an appointment on Thusday with my doc. What should I ask for?

I started having pain on my right side in Februrary. They thought it was divertic then after 3 weeks of not getting better, I had anothter CT scan and now they say EPIPLOIC APPENDAGITIS It is like a fat lesion on the intesting that gets twisted. They don't do anything but tell you to take advil. I am still not feelin good. I feel like there is a baked potato under my rib cage on the right side.

I am so sick of feeling like crap.

Any ideas??

Honestly, no, theres nothing you can do for this pain. I was dx with EA several times this past year and the only thing the drs can do is give you pain medicine. Call dr back and tell them that the advil has no effect and see if they can prescribe you something. Although, even if you get a good pain med, there is nothing that can that pain away unless your in the hospital with an iv and a really good shot of something and thats only temporary. All I can tell you is hopefully it will clear soon but i would for sure call dr and ask for a rx......
