I have been given a copy of my radiological report from a pelvic CT performed last month. In the report is this section saying Hypodense, nonenhancing mass in the liver located along the expected course of falciform ligament. Suspected Focal Fatty Infiltration.
No recommendation for additional studies was suggested. Should I schedule a Ultrasound?
CT is superior to ultrasound...I would think you need a follow-up in 6 months...just my $.02 but I had the same thing happen to me at my first CT and fast forward 9 months...just had a 6x10cm benign tumore removed last week. Also, MRI is superior to CT if no one is sure about the mass.
