I had surgery in April to remove the right lobe of my liver because there were numerous adenomas on it. I had a CT scan on July 6th & the liver surgeon/specialist said everything looked good & the adenomas had basically disappeared (was on birth control, but stopped in February). Now, for the last few days, I have had excruciating pain in my right side & I don't know what to do. I'm at work today & it is almost unbearable, something must be wrong. I have an appointment this Monday to see the liver guy & want to wait until then because he knows my case & he's the best in the state (MN). Only thing is that I'm really scared right now. Does anyone know if adenomas can come back all of a sudden (within a month) and/or show up in different spots other than your liver (like your colon/intestines)?
